The Ultimate Oslofjord Experience

Our trip starts outside Oslo Visitor Centre located at the bustling Jernbanetorget. We will hop aboard the Frognerseteren metro line taking a scenic train ride with breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.

As you reach the Frognerseteren station, you will be greeted by breathtaking panoramic views. We will take a leisurely hike through the glorious green forest and along mysterious small lakes that are said to be inhabited by the mystical creature Huldra. After we wander to DNT Fuglemyrhytta - a small cabin that offers a cozy spot to relax and take in the views. From there our adventure will continue through the forest to the most spectacular spot of our journey – the summit of Vettakollen mountain offering overwhelming views of the city and the Oslofjord. Take in the crisp fresh air and capture this moment with photographs.

Vettakollen peak provides the best view to the city. From here, you can feast your eyes on large parts of Oslo, the Oslo fjord, and its serene coastline, dotted with numerous small islands.

After enjoying the view, we will stroll down to the metro station and head back down to Jernbanetorget.

From there it's a short 5 minute walk to the dock, where your ship will be waiting. Your guide will show you to the dock and say farewell for the day. Don't worry, you will still have the option to listen to an audio guide of your journey aboard the ship, but don't forget to bring your own headset! One of the great things about the electric ship is that it is quite silent. For that reason the cruise ship company has chosen "silent guiding" on all the electric ships because the silence is a big part of the experience for many passengers. If you would like to listen to the audio guide, just scan the QR code you will be provided on board and listen in!

Beautiful through all seasons, experience the beautiful inner parts of the Oslofjord. From the pier opposite the Oslo Opera House we sail along the spectacular city shoreline, between exquisite small islands, passing famous landmarks and historical places.

Along the way, learn about Norway’s unique history, culture & heritage with the free audio guiding (Voice of Norway App). There is also free Wifi onboard.

The Café onboard offers local food and drinks which you can enjoy while experiencing the heart of Oslofjord.

After completing your booking, you will be sent both a confirmation from Oslo Hiking and also an additional PDF document that will be your ticket needed to board the cruise. This ticket is required to board the ship!

If for any reason your cruise is canceled, you will either be refunded or moved to a different departure date/time.
