Our trip starts outside the Oslo Visitor Centre, at the train station Jernbanetorget. We will take one of the most breathtaking metro train rides, with it's stunning views, to the Lillevann station.
Then we wander into beautiful Nordmarka, pass idyllic Lillevann, and eventually come up to Øvresetertjern. From here we will slowly hike down King Olav’s trail to Schrøderbakken, hidden gem in the forest. The hike will take us through a lush green forest where you can breath the fresh air and listen to the sound of nature.
Schrøderbakken is a historic ski jumping hill. The Schrøder brothers built this place around the beginning of the 20th century. Schrøderbakken probably was Norway's strangest jumping slope of its time! The funny fact: King Harald jumped from here once in 1949, when he was crown prince.
Here in the forest we find a nice seat, enjoying the weather and nature around us. From this magnificent and historic spot we will listen to two famous Norwegian jazz musicians, Frode Haltli and Erlend Apneseth. The concert lasts for 40 minutes, and after this unique experience, we will stroll down to the metro station and finish our trip at Jernbanetorget, where we started.
We hope that this tour will bring you the unforgettable memories, and become a unique experience you will always remember.
