Join us for a forest hike to the heart of Oslo. Enjoy a Norwegian barbecue on one of Oslo´s most beautiful lakes.

The tour starts near the Tiger statue outside Oslo central station - Jernbanetorget - where you will meet your local guide.

We will take a 30 min tram to the popular Sognsvann lake. From here we will start to hike through the green forest, breathing the clean fresh air.

We will soon reach another beautiful small lake called Nedre Blanksjø. This lake lies in the middle of the forest, and where the actual geographical center of Oslo is located! It is a real wonder how close the Norwegian capital is to the wilderness and forest. Here, surrounded by nature, we will have a campfire and enjoy a Norwegian barbecue. That means we will sit around the fire on the shore of the lake and enjoy our barbecue (we can provide snacks, hot coffee, soft drinks, fruits and maybe grilled sausages, you can choose it as an additional option). There is nothing better than eating outside after a good hike in the woods, a simple meal and good friends!

From Nedre Blanksjø we will hike a different trail back to Sognsvann lake, and then we take public transport back to Jernbanetorget.

Travelling is all about sharing experiences, so why not go hiking with friends or family, and book one of our tours as a larger group? We will be delighted to offer you a group discount:

Small groups of 5-9 5% per person
Groups of 10+ 10% per person
Group discounts will be applied against the base price of the tour
